Game Development Behind the Scenes

Legend of Combat: Infinite Arena

Our team is full of martial arts enthusiasts. During a company dinner, we got into a heated debate about 'which martial art is the strongest,' which eventually led to an impromptu demonstration in the parking lot that was caught on security cameras. While laughing at the footage later, we had the sudden inspiration: 'What if we turn this into a game?' The combo system's failure animations were actually motion-captured from one of our team members' drunken missed kicks that night."

Sprint Legends: Ultimate Dash

"When creating the first prototype, I started running through downtown to design the urban environment. Once, I was so immersed that I accidentally joined an actual marathon race, was mistaken for a participant, and even received a finisher's medal! That experience was so fun that we added an 'Intruder Mode' to the game, where players can leave the official route to find hidden shortcuts. That marathon medal is still displayed in our office as our 'First Game Achievement' trophy."

Culinary Empire: Chef's Dynasty
"This game began during the COVID lockdowns. Our team all started learning to cook at home and would show off our creations during weekly video calls. One developer made kimchi tacos that looked so delicious that everyone demanded the recipe. Instead of sharing it, he said, 'I'll tell you if you beat me in a game.' That's how we turned cooking recipes into in-game rewards, hiding actual cookable recipes throughout the game. To this day, our office refrigerator always has a bottle of the 'Legendary Sauce' featured in the game!"

Cosmic Explorers: Stellar Odyssey

"The idea for this game came from a power outage during a thunderstorm. Our entire office went dark while we were working late, and someone pulled out a telescope they kept in their car. We ended up on the roof, taking turns looking at the stars and making up stories about alien civilizations. The next morning, we scrapped the dating sim we were working on and pivoted to a space exploration game instead. The star map in our game is actually based on the constellations we saw that night, with our own fictional civilizations added to them. And yes, one of the alien species is definitely inspired by our CEO's unusual silhouette against the night sky!"
